FERRATA LA MOCHA ROUTE
The Ferrata de La Mocha Route was set up by the City Council of La Iruela on the peak of the same name, just behind our hotel and visible from some of our rooms.
With very easy access to both its entrance and exit, it is a stepped route where the vertical stretches alternate with corbels, a horizontal crossing, and a Tibetan bridge.
The route is about 560 metres with an easy level alternative that does not include the upper cone section of 150 metres.
The way back is along the old mountain path of Las Animas, although there is also the option of continuing towards Prado Redondo and continuing on the GR7 towards Cazorla or inside the Natural Park if you are a true Indiana Jones.
The level of difficulty alternates between 2 and 3, the upper cone section being the most demanding both physically and psychologically. For only € 35 per person, the instructor, the necessary technical equipment, civil liability insurance, and assistance are included. You can ask questions and reserve your spots at the reception of our hotel.
