Stresses the great cabin of deer, mountain goats and wild boar, as well as important populations of wildcat, fox, mouflon otter and fallow deer.
The mountain goat has been one of the emblematic animals of the Park.
Among the birds stand out the griffon vulture and the golden eagle, as well as the bearded vulture, in the process of repopulation. Among the reptiles, the Valverde lizard and the snout viper stand out.

There is the largest forest area of pine forests in all of Spain, with representation of almost all species, and the oldest specimens in Europe. We can find holm oak, carrasco pine forests accompanied by arbutus and lentisks, quejigos and important areas of surrounding pine. Also ash, willow, poplars, reeds and millenary yew trees and specimens of holly, both very scarce in Andalusia ... And many more!
