From mid-September to mid-October, the forests surrounding the Tranco reservoir are full of life with the bellows of the deer during their rut at dawn.
We suggest listening to the rutting season, mating time for deers.
You can watch at your own pace by moving around with your own vehicle from the Pantano del Tranco or Bukharaiza viewpoints.

The Borosa River is crossed from the Charco de la Cana, between waterfalls and pools of cold turquoise waters, passing through the confluence of the Arroyo de las Truchas with the Borosa, until reaching the Cerrada de Elías path.

The Cerrada del Utrero Canyoning is carried out in a section of the Guadalquivir River located about 14 km from its source. It is not just a sporting activity, but it is an opportunity to delve into the bowels of the Guadalquivir River and enjoy its surroundings.

20 km from the hotel, an easy circular route lasting 1 hour (2km) that crosses a gorge crossed by the Guadalquivir River and takes us to the Utrero reservoir dam, then the landscape opens up and allows us to contemplate the Cascada de Linarejos known as the Cola de Caballo and beautiful views of the valley.

We will accompany the “Rio Grande” of Andalusia, from the Cerrada de Utrero, an impressive 2 km long gorge (a walk along the trail will be optional and voluntary, passing through the Puente de las Herrerías (15th century), between forests of century-old black pines. (we will see one almost 500 years old), until we reach where the poets wrote: “stop here traveler,…” his birth.

The route runs through unique landscapes, with rare limestone formations (Estrello de los Perales, Valdetrillos), panoramic views that reach the Sierra Nevada, forests of tortuous laricios, old gall oaks, oaks, maples... where the large mammals of these mountains take refuge.

Dense forests of peinares await us in which large mammals live, plateaus such as Las Navas, spectacular views of the high mountain valleys, the highest peaks of these mountain ranges and at the end of the journey some beautiful views on a route along the Valdeazores lagoons, black waters, until reaching the Source of the Borosa.

This hiking experience lasts approximately 3 and a half hours. Departure from the hotel whose reception staff will tell you where to start the route and other details.

Guided tour by tourist train, along a route of approximately 5 km and where you can see in semi-freedom deer, fallow deer, mouflon, mountain goat and the Moorish roe deer in the process of reintroduction.
